On April 15th, 2008, I came out to my ex-partner and essentially destroyed that relationship. Over the last year I have gone from being afraid I "looked too gay" to giving speeches on transgendered issues to classes as a transgendered woman.
I'd be lying if I said I was even half way there. But things are going well.
